About the Game

Big Game Fishing TopHit is a Video Slot with 5 reels and three rows incorporating 20 paylines. The game features 10 regular symbols that win if three or more are lined up on a payline, beginning with the leftmost reel.

There is also a Bonus symbol that does not need to be on a payline to award a prize. In addition, if a Fisherman symbol lands fully in view on the TopHit reels, the cash prizes on any Fish symbols on the main reels are collected, added together and won.

TopHit

TopHit comprises an additional feature reel set which can help award wilds, multipliers, Free Spins and a fish-catching Fisherman. When a high symbol lands fully in view on the feature reels, it turns all instances of that symbol on the main reels into Wilds. If multiple of the same high symbol land on the feature reels it also adds up to a 5x multiplier to all wins with those wilds (multiple wilds with multipliers on a single line multiply each other).

Multipliers can be x2, x3, x4 or x5. Bonus symbols can also land on the feature reels and function exactly like Bonus symbols on the main reels. There is a Fisherman symbol which catches any cash fish on the main reels and a nudge symbol which can land on the 5th main reel and causes all partially landed symbols on the feature reels to nudge to be fully in view.

Each time a Fisherman lands fully on the TopHit reels, any fish present on the main reels are caught and their associated cash prizes collected. A fish prize multiplier is increased by 1 after any Fisherman lands which is applied to any fish caught by subsequent Fishermen. The maximum that the Fisherman multiplier can reach is X28 over 48 billion games.

The multipliers can build up with each spin of Free Spins and if any multiplier reaches 5, any further matching symbols on the TopHit reels add an extra Free Spin instead.

During Free Spins session when high paying symbols are transformed into Wild and when it reaches the maximum Wild multiplier i.e. x5, and if a new symbol appears it is also collected, but the Wild multiplier range does not increase, instead the collected symbol is added as 1 additional Free Spin to the ongoing Free Spins session.

Free Spins Gamble

The Free Spins Gamble is triggered when 3 or more Bonus symbols land in view during the base game. The player is offered the choice of collecting their current Free Spins or gambling for more in an 'all or nothing' gamble. Choosing to gamble results in a pointer spinning. It can end up pointing to either green or red. Green is a win and steps the player up to the next level of Free Spins. Red is a lose and ends the game round with no Free Spins.
