Diamond Wilds

Diamond Wilds land on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitute for all paying symbols except Scatter.
They are also a progression symbol used to climb the symbol upgrade ladder.

Symbol Upgrade Ladder

Each spin is numbered from 1 to 30, indicated by a counter above the reels.
Landing Diamond Wilds during the cycle increases the progress in the symbol upgrade ladder to the right of the reels. The ladder levels indicate the symbols ordered from lowest paying at the bottom to highest paying at the top. Each level has 3 steps to fill. Filling up a level of the progress bar upgrades all the current lower paying symbols to the symbol that has just been filled. Further upgrades continue until the end of the 30-spin cycle.
The progress increment and symbol upgrade are completed before line wins are paid.
Once the cycle finishes, all the progress bars are reset and the symbols are returned to default.

Free Spins

3, 4 or 5 Scatter symbols pay in accordance with the paytable when they appear anywhere on the reels and trigger 9, 12 or 20 Free Spins respectively. 3, 4 or 5 Scatters during Free Spins trigger 9, 12 or 20 additional Free Spins respectively. Scatters cannot land in Free Spins if the last level of the Symbol Upgrade Ladder has been filled.
All symbol upgrades are active during Free Spins and landing any Diamond Wilds in the bonus round increases the progress the same way as in a base spin. At the end of Free Spins, the progress reached is transferred to the base game.

How to Play Diamonds Up

Game Progress

Any progress features in the game, including symbols locked onto the reels, which affect subsequent spins, are saved for your game at the stake level you are playing at.
You can have different progress levels at different stakes on the same game, and move between them by changing the stake.
If you are awarded free spins from a promotional campaign any progress in the main game, including any locked symbols, will be saved and be available to continue playing at the same stake once the free spins have been completed.
