Special Features

Crystal Charge Effects

  • Each win charges the crystal charge meter. When it is full and no more cascades can occur, a crystal charge effect is activated, randomly triggering one of these effects:
    • Chain Lightning: Two opposite corners emit an arc, transforming struck symbols into the same symbol as one of the corners.
    • Light Beam: A light beam radiates from a symbol both vertically and horizontally, changing all affected symbols to other types.
    • Crystal Warp: A symbol and all its matches on the grid are altered into different symbols.
    • Nova Blast: A selected symbol explodes, removing adjacent symbols in a large blast. This creates a core of matching symbols before normal play resumes.
  • Once the crystal charge meter is filled, it is possible to super charge the game by continuing to win on additional symbols during the same round. If the meter is fully super charged, all current and subsequent wins in that round are multiplied by 3. The Super Charge feature can trigger only once per round.

Exploring Worlds and Wild Symbols

  • Gemix is structured around different worlds, each with three distinct patterns to clear. The active pattern is shown on the screen; to clear it, achieve wins on all marked grid positions.
  • Clearing a pattern unlocks the next for the current world. Clear all three patterns in a world to access a new world and earn the World Bonus. Any win during a round contributes to increasing the World Bonus.
  • Each world introduces its own unique wild symbol:
    • Miner’s World: Wild symbols fall from the top of the grid to replace regular ones, with a maximum of 10 wilds appearing at once.
    • Princess’ World: A selected edge symbol transforms into a wild, spreading across adjacent positions until reaching another edge symbol.
    • Wizard’s World: Up to 8 sticky wilds can appear and do not drop down or disappear when part of winning combinations. These remain in position for one game round or until the Crystal Charge is activated.
  • Wild symbols substitute for any other symbol to help form winning clusters and are removed when included in a winning combination, unless they are sticky wilds in Wizard’s World.

Technical and Unfinished Games

  • If a game round is interrupted, all information and placed bets are saved until the game is reopened.
  • Unfinished rounds can be resumed from the point of interruption. Any unresolved bets after 90 days are voided and will be forfeited to charity.
  • If a malfunction occurs, all pays and plays are void.
