Popeye Walking Wild
When a Popeye Wild symbol lands on the reels, the Walking Wild feature is triggered and a re-spin sequence begins.
After each re-spin, the Popeye symbol moves to the adjacent reel to the left. The reels are evaluated and any wins are paid.
If an additional Popeye symbol lands on a reel to the right of an existing Popeye symbol, it increases the number of re-spins.
Re-spins continue until, after one final re-spin, the last Popeye symbol walks off the reels.
Popeye Walking Wild Reel Stretch
During a Popeye Walking Wild feature, if a Spinach Can Scatter symbol lands on the reels, Popeye pops out of his symbol, grabs the spinach can, and eats it to gain strength. He then punches upwards to stretch the reel on which the Scatter landed, extending it upwards by one symbol space. This increases the number of potential paying ways.
If more Scatter symbols land during the feature, more reels will be stretched.
If 3 Scatters land on the reels while the feature is active, Popeye eats all 3 cans of spinach and stretches all 3 reels. The Free Spins feature then starts, with the reels locked in their new, stretched layout.
If multiple Popeye symbols are active and one or more Scatters land on the reels, each Popeye stretches the affected reel(s) by 1 extra symbol space.
Each reel can extend to a maximum height of 7 symbols, resulting in 243–7,203 ways to win.
